How much will shipping cost?

How long will it take to receive my order?
We ship all orders within 24 hours. Occasionally (at busy times of the year or when we are running a sale for example) there might be a slight delay. The following are guidelines for First Class Airmail delivery timeframes (but not guarantees) -
- Within Canada - 3 to 10 business days
- To USA - 4 to 10 business days
- International - 3 to 20 business days
Alternatively, we can Expedite your order if you need it in a hurry. We use Canada Posts's XpressPost for orders within Canada and FedEx for orders to the US and the Rest of the World. The following are guidelines for Expedited orders -
- Within Canada - 1 to 3 business days
- To USA - 1 to 2 business days
- International - 3 to 5 business days
Customers in Russia and Mexico - in our experience, shipping to these countries takes longer than usual, and it's not uncommon for orders to take 1-2 months to arrive. If you would like a speedier delivery, we recommend upgrading to our Expedited service.
How long will it take to process my order?
We're fast. Depending on when we receive your order it could go out the same day, and all orders ship within 24 hours. At certain times of the year things can get pretty busy, but at those times we're especially aware of how important your order is to you. We'll stop at nothing to make sure your jewelry is with you as quickly as possible.
However, processing orders this fast means that we are unable to make changes to your order once it is placed. This includes changes to the billing/shipping address, the item, the size, the chain etc, and we can also not cancel your order.
Will I have to pay Customs and Duties?
Customers in Canada and the US will not have to pay any duties on their orders. International customers are responsible for any import duties that may be charged. If you are unsure about these charges then we recommend contacting your local customs office.
We are required by law to declare the full value of your order on the Customs Declaration form included with every International shipment.
Do you offer Returns and Exchanges?
Absolutely. If you're not 100% happy with your purchase, or if a ring is not the right size, you have 10 days (from receipt of your order) to return it to us for an exchange or a refund. Please return all goods unworn, undamaged and in the original condition they were received. We're sorry, but we are not able to offer exchanges or returns on earrings.

Do you sell Lost Apostle gift cards?
Yes we do. Lost Apostle gift cards can be purchased in values from $25 to $200, and simple instructions are given on how to redeem them online. You can find our gift cards here.
Will my Lost Apostle purchase arrive gift wrapped?
Yes it will. Every Lost Apostle purchase is beautifully wrapped and secured with our Lost Apostle seal. Each piece also comes in a signature ultrasuede Lost Apostle pouch. The pouch is a keeper, forsooths.
Can I order more than one of a certain item?
Yes you can. As long as we have stock, you can add as many of a certain item to your cart as you like. Once the quantity cannot be increased any higher, you'll have reached the maximum available quantity for that item.
Do you have more information on the history of bronze?

Bronze is cool and everything but do you make anything in Sterling silver?
We do. James is something of a silversmith and has worked with silver for over twenty years. Here's where you'll find the fruits of our labours.
How do I look after my bronze jewelry?
All our bronzes are protected against tarnishing, and will stay looking beautiful for years. The bracelet that inspired Lost Apostle was made by the Khmer people over 1500 years ago and looks as good today as the day it was made. We recommend removing all jewelry before swimming, exercising, showering etc - water itself is not a problem but the chemicals in the pool, the soaps (and even your sweat) can damage the protection.
It's also a good idea to try to avoid prolonged contact with perfumes and insect repellents, as the chemicals in these products can be pretty harsh for any jewelry.
What currency do you use on your website?
All prices are listed in USD.
Can I request a different chain length for my necklace?
We offer all our necklaces with a choice of chain lengths - 18", 24" and 32". We find these to be the best lengths in terms of short, mid and long. If you'd like a different length from those options given, simply proceed with your order and let us know in the Notes at the checkout what length chain you'd like, and we'll take care of it. No charge.
Are your leather necklaces and bracelets adjustable?
Very much so. When we designed the signature Lost Apostle clasp, we did so with customization in mind. Every leather necklace and bracelet is shipped with very simple instructions on how to adjust the length/size of the jewelry and how to attach the clasp. Adjustable? We've got it covered.
Is the leather strong?
The strongest. We source our leather from a leathersmith in Spain, who have operated their family business from the same wonderful premises for over 100 years. They know everything there is to know about making strong, yet beautifully soft leather.
Like all leather, it's a good idea not to submerge it in water. The occasional splash will be no problem but we recommend removing any leather jewelry before swimming or showering.
